How to read the results

Monthly premium is the rate the carrier offers for your selected amount, term and health tier, paid each month. Rate class is the underwriting bracket the quote reflects; the carrier determines your actual class after underwriting. Exam indicates whether the carrier typically orders an exam; today many programs skip exams for eligible applicants. A.M. Best shows the carrier's creditworthiness score.
